The State Service of Special Communication and Information Security has established the AzStateNet infrastructure to provide state institutions and critical infrastructures with both data and Internet networks throughout the territory of the Republic. At the same time, the organization of communication between state institutions was ensured by means of SDH and DWDM equipment, STM-16 and STM-64 level communication services, including the provision of gigabit ports and E1 connections, were provided through this equipment.
Network equipment based on IP/MPLS technology serves to transport internal traffic of the Republic. Ethernet port services are organized with "full mesh" and "star" topologies providing alternation across the Republic.
