The first Collegium meeting of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held
Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the Chairman of the Collegium, Lieutenant General Ilqar Musayev, emphasized that by the Order No. 55 dated March 15, 2024, of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the “Composition of the Collegium of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan” had been approved, and that the first meeting of the Collegium was currently being held.
The Head of the Service stated that, in accordance with the “Regulation on the Collegium of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by the relevant order, the Collegium is a body that considers issues related to the main areas of the Service’s activities in a collegial manner and adopts appropriate decisions. He also noted that, at the meetings of the Collegium, the main directions of the Service’s activities, the state of combat readiness and public preparedness, the results of military personnel certification, the financial and economic activities of the Service, and the state of executive discipline are discussed, and relevant decisions are made.
Subsequently, reports on the agenda items were heard, and members of the Collegium as well as heads of independent bodies delivered speeches on the issues discussed. Concluding the Collegium meeting, Lieutenant General Ilqar Musayev issued relevant instructions regarding the implementation of legally defined duties and assigned tasks.
