Another important authority has been granted to the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Amendments have been made to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information.”
In this regard, the Head of State signed a new Law.
According to the amendment made to the Law, it will not be permitted to provide electronic services through state information resources and systems without obtaining a positive opinion from the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan confirming compliance with information security requirements. It has also been established that state information resources and systems providing electronic services must be monitored by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan according to security criteria, ensured with protected telecommunication channels, and subjected to security audits at least once a year.
