The professional holiday of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service was celebrated
The personnel of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the Service’s professional holiday, visited the grave of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, prominent politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev at Alley of Honor, paid tribute to his cherished memory, and laid wreaths and bouquets of flowers in front of the graves of the Great Leader and the distinguished ophthalmologist academician Zarifa Aliyeva. The personnel of the Service also visited Alley of Martyrs, paying tribute to the memory of our brave sisters and brothers who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our homeland, the freedom of our people, and the integrity of our borders, and laid a wreath in front of the “Eternal Flame” monument complex.
Afterwards, the head of the Service and the leadership inspected the corner dedicated to the National Leader located in the foyer of the Service’s administrative building and laid wreaths and bouquets of flowers in front of the bust of Heydər Əliyev.
A solemn jubilee ceremony was held in the administrative building of the Service.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the head of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service, Lieutenant General Ilqar Musayev, provided detailed information about the life and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, how he successfully led his people through complex historical and political trials of the time, his special attention to the security of our country as a wise and far-sighted statesman, and the establishment of the Service.
During the event, the head of the Service emphasized the achievements obtained by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan in ensuring the high-quality, stable, and secure operation of special communication systems, special-purpose information and telecommunication systems, and networks for state bodies, thanks to the comprehensive attention and care of the Head of State İlham Aliyev.
The head of the Service also provided detailed information about the most important tasks currently ahead, including ensuring a high level of information security during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku in November of this year. These tasks include hosting the COP29 data base at the Data Center, conducting comprehensive security checks, resolving significant telecommunications issues, and ensuring coverage of the venues where the event will take place with the “AzStateNet” internet network, as well as providing detailed information about the work related to the organization of the Cyber Diplomacy Conference, which will be held for the first time in Azerbaijan.
Afterwards, the head of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the awarding of a number of employees of the Service, and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the collective to the Head of State for the attention and care shown to the Service and its employees.
At the end of the event, an appeal was adopted on behalf of the staff of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan addressed to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. İlham Əliyev.
