Talented students in the field of cybersecurity have been awarded by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service

The Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues close cooperation with higher education institutions in the country with the aim of educating students studying in the field of cybersecurity, enhancing their knowledge and skills, and developing them as qualified specialists.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on November 5, 2022, between the Special Communication and Information Security State Service and Azerbaijan Technical University, the Service held another competition to assess the cybersecurity knowledge of bachelor's and master's students studying information security at the University.

Based on the competition results, the 3rd-year bachelor students of the Faculty of Information and Telecommunication Technologies, specializing in information security, Samad Alifkhanov and Subhan Mammadov, as well as master's students of the High Education Institute under the University specializing in state information system security, Araz Aliyev and Inci Abdullayeva, were recognized for their outstanding achievements and declared winners.

The winners were awarded by the Service.

It should be noted that within the framework of the Memorandum, the Service plans to provide a "Malware Analysis Laboratory" at the University for student use and to hold further competitions in upcoming semesters to award students with special distinctions.
