The Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) actively participated in the “Youth Cybersecurity Forum 2025”

On April 23, 2025, the “Youth Cybersecurity Forum 2025” was held at the Baku Congress Center. The forum was organized with the aim of strengthening awareness of cybersecurity among youth, promoting innovative approaches, and enhancing the role of the human factor in the national security ecosystem.
One of the main partners of the event was the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SCISSS).
The opening ceremony was attended by Azer Ahmadov, Chief of the Main Department of SCISSS; Qadir Khalilov, Acting Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Elvin Shahverdiyev, Deputy Head of the Electronic Security Service; and Rashad Zeynalov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Union of Student Youth Organizations.
At the panel discussion titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Human Factor: New Changes and Risks in Cybersecurity,” Murad Balayev, Head of a Department at SCISSS, spoke about the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on cybersecurity systems, the importance of the human factor, and emerging new risks.
In another panel dedicated to “Cybersecurity: New Approaches in Programming and Data Protection,” Nadir Novruzov, Head of a Department at SCISSS, participated. His presentation covered modern methods for software security, innovations in data protection, and advanced technologies.
The forum concluded with a practical simulation focused on “Detecting Vulnerabilities and Defense Methods on Demo Systems.”
By actively participating in such initiatives, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service continues to play a vital role in raising public awareness about cybersecurity and facilitating knowledge and experience exchange with the youth.
