A meeting dedicated to the results of the first half of 2025 was held at the Special Communication and Information Security State Service
A broad-format meeting dedicated to the results of January–June 2025 was held at the Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS).
Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev, the Head of the Service, emphasized that at a time when new technologies are rapidly being adopted worldwide, Azerbaijan has achieved significant success in the field of information security thanks to the farsighted policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Musayev also spoke in detail about the reforms carried out by the Service, the strengthening of national resources in the field of cybersecurity, the expansion of international cooperation, the implementation of new projects based on modern technologies, and enhancement of knowledge and skills in information security. He also addressed the priority tasks ahead and gave instructions to the heads of relevant structural units regarding the more effective organization of activities in this field.
Then, a report covering the Service’s areas of activity and future plans was presented. During the meeting, the heads of structural units spoke about the work carried out during the reporting period regarding the provision of special state communication, government communication, and specially designated information and telecommunication systems and networks to state bodies, their integration with the internet network, the hosting and operation of internet information resources at the Information and Resource Center, as well as ensuring information security and strengthening requirements in this field.
It was noted that compared to the same period of the previous year, the results achieved demonstrate significant progress in expanding technological capabilities, strengthening international partnerships, and advancing institutional development in the field of cybersecurity within the Service’s operations.
At the end of the meeting, on the occasion of June 26 — the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan — a number of employees of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service were awarded.
