XRITDX blocked over 1 million malicious emails in 7 months
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Security (SCSIS) continues to work consistently to ensure the regular and comprehensive protection of state information resources from cyber threats.
As a result of monitoring and analysis conducted by the SCSIS during January-July of this year, 573 cyber attack indicators were identified. As a result of blocking the aforementioned cyber attack indicators, APT (“Advanced Persistent Threat”) cyber attacks specifically targeted at state institutions were prevented. Of the identified indicators, 206 were detected through internal investigations of the Service, and 367 were detected based on requests from state institutions.
During the 7 months of this year, 7,455,124 e-mails were processed by the state e-mail service operating under the constant supervision of the SCSIS. Of these, 6,103,281 were delivered to users as safe, and 1,351,843 were identified as containing malicious content and blocked.
By implementing continuous and preventive measures in the field of information security, XRITDX reliably ensures the uninterrupted and secure operation of government agencies in the digital environment.
