A Regular Meeting of the OIC-CERT Board of Directors Held in Rabat

A delegation from the Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the “OIC-CERT” — the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Team — held on September 17 in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting of the Board of Directors, the activities carried out within the framework of the organisation’s 2025 action plan were discussed. Additionally, information was presented on the progress of the fourth strategic direction of OIC-CERT — "Cybersecurity, Innovation, Research, and Technology" — led by our country (CERT.gov.az).

Furthermore, the Board of Directors was introduced to the preliminary version of the “Information Security Environment Diagnostics” project, currently being developed by the SCISSS. The Board noted that the developed assessment methodology was of interest to them and that sharing it among member states would be beneficial.

During the session, the evaluation results of projects submitted for the 2025 "Global Cybersecurity Award" competition were announced, and the project of the Cybersecurity Council of the United Arab Emirates was declared the winner.

For your information, SCISSS has been successfully representing our country on the OIC-CERT Board of Directors for 9 years.
