The next meeting of the Coordination Commission for Information Security was held
On November 5, 2021, the next meeting of the Coordination Commission for Information Security was held in videoconference format. The Chairman of the Commission, Mursal Valiyev, who opened the meeting with his opening speech, expressed his gratitude to the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, who made our nation feel the victory with his decisive decisions in the 44-day Patriotic War, and thanked our fighting sons who had a part in this victory, and prayed for God's mercy on our martyrs. He also noted that during the 44-day Patriotic War, each state institution was tasked with relevant fields and successfully coped with these tasks, noting that information security was one of the most urgent topics during the Patriotic War, as well as that high intensity was observed on the cyber front during this period, only pointed out that more than 3,000 cyber attack attempts against state institutions were resolutely prevented by the specialists of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security.
Later, the Commission discussed the issues raised by various organizations on information security, including those on the agenda. In order to strengthen the attention and control of information security against information leakage in state institutions, "Sample guidelines on information security assurance", proposals for changes in relevant legislative acts to strengthen the protection of personal data, security issues of critical information infrastructures, personnel training, national cryptography, threats to information security and so on. such topics were among the issues discussed.
In the discussions devoted to the above-mentioned issues, the members of the commission gave opinions and suggestions.
In the end, the Chairman of the Commission thanked all the meeting participants for their active participation in the discussions and stated that the necessary measures will be taken for the implementation of the discussed issues. He emphasized the need for such productive meetings to be held more intensively in order to solve the issues ahead in the field of information security.
