A master class was held by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) for students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). The training was dedicated to the topic “Management and Compliance Approach in Information Security.” The master class was organized within the framework of the “Memorandum of Cooperation” signed between the SCISSS and BHOS on June 13, 2023.
During the training, detailed information was provided on the information security management model, the main components of the GRC (Governance, Risk Management, Compliance) approach, the requirements of international standards, and compliance processes. The discussions also covered topics such as the formation of a management framework within organizations, risk assessment, and the effective implementation of security controls.
Within the framework of the presentation, students were provided with detailed explanations on the establishment of management structures based on international standards, methodologies for compliance auditing, and real practical examples.
