The Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Republic of Azerbaijan has held a webinar in an online format
A webinar on the topic of “Information security risks and their management” has been held in an online format by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Republic of Azerbaijan
The webinar has been organized within the framework of the implementation of the Resolution No. 411 dated December 25, 2025 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On approval of the Rule on maintaining the Information Security Risk Register”. The purpose of the event has been to improve the mechanisms for the systematic management of information security risks in state bodies and to present practical approaches in this field.
During the webinar, presentations have been delivered on the procedure for maintaining the information security risk register, the catalog of threats and solutions, as well as the Digital Risk Register platform.
A total of 110 representatives from nearly 100 state institutions have participated in the event. Within the framework of the webinar, practical approaches related to the identification, assessment, and management of information security risks have been presented.
It has been noted that the management of information security risks based on a unified approach is of special importance for the protection of state information resources and the strengthening of the cybersecurity environment. In this regard, enhancing coordination and methodological approaches among state bodies is one of the priority issues.
It should be noted that on February 27 of the current year, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Republic of Azerbaijan held a large-scale event on the topic of “Information security risks and their management.” The webinar has been organized as a continuation of this event, and the continuation of awareness-raising activities in this direction is planned.
