The Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) delivered masterclasses at higher education institutions
The Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) organized masterclasses on "Digital Forensics: Approaches and Applications" for students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Baku Business University (BBU), and Odlar Yurdu University (ODY) to enhance their knowledge and practical skills. The sessions were designed to familiarize future cybersecurity professionals with the fundamental principles, key application areas, and modern methodologies of digital forensics.
As part of the event, the SCISSS Malware Research Laboratory conducted a live demonstration of malware analysis using its in-house developed tool, Tusi Paleon. During the demonstration, participants were introduced to the process of identifying malware behavior, detecting digital artifacts, and performing technical analysis based on established digital forensic methodologies.
This initiative aims to strengthen students' practical competencies, foster the development of specialized human capital in the field of information security, and expand the country's pool of highly qualified cybersecurity professionals.
