This issue was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection" which was discussed at the joint meeting of the Human Rights, Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committees of the Milli Majlis on May 4.
Special requirements for the security of critical information infrastructure will be determined by the subject of critical information infrastructure in accordance with the purpose of critical information infrastructure and its operational characteristics will be placed in the register of critical information infrastructure objects. The authorized body will give written and oral explanations to the subjects of critical information infrastructure on issues related to the application of requirements for the security of critical information infrastructure, as well as provide methodical assistance in overcoming the encountered difficulties.
In order to study the state of compliance with the requirements for the security of critical information infrastructure, the requests sent by the competent authority to the subject of critical information infrastructure must be answered without delay. The subject of the critical information infrastructure must create the necessary conditions and support the activities of the authorized body related to the prevention of cyber-threats and cyber-incidents. Violation of requirements for the security of critical information infrastructure leads to liability established by the Law.
At the same time, the procedure for organizing activities on the security of critical information infrastructure is determined. The general organization and coordination of activities on the security of critical information infrastructure will be carried out by the authorized body.
