The first international conference on cyber hygiene was held. The conference was organized by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Electronic Government Development Center (EHIM) of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center for Computer Emergency Response Team , and "B.EST Solutions" LLC.
Ilgar Musayev, the head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Ulvi Mehdiyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, made an opening speech at the conference.
At the conference, Lauri Alman, co-founder of the Estonian company "CybExer Technologies", awarded by NATO, Elvin Balacanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan, Janek Gridin, Chief Executive Officer of "ByteLife Solutions", Tural Mammadov, chief information security specialist of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, CEO of "CybExer Academy/RiskSight" Markus Münzer, spoke on various topics.
Within the framework of the conference, a number of state institutions were also awarded with letters of thanks for the active use of the "Cyber Hygiene" platform, as well as the employees of state institutions for their support in the implementation of the platform.
So far, about 130 state institutions and about 4,000 employees of state institutions have benefited from the "Kibergigiyena" platform (https://kibergigiyena.az/). Within the framework of the training, international standards applied in the field of information security, national security requirements, organizational policy of information security and the latest prepared guidelines, recommendations, guiding principles and solutions were presented.
It should be recalled that in connection with the creation of the cyber hygiene portal in September of last year, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service, the Electronic Government Development Center of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the technical operator of the mobile electronic signature "ASAN Imza" "B.EST" Solutions" LLC signed a tripartite agreement. The main subject of the agreement is the creation, use, management of the platform, promotion of information security and conducting relevant publicity work.
