Special Communication and Information Security State Service organized an event on the occasion of Victory Day
The State Service of Special Communication and Information Security (SCIS) organized an event on the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day.
At the event, the holy souls of our heroic martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan, were commemorated with a minute of silence.
Head of Service Ilgar Musayev opened the event with an introductory speech, He informed about the historical significance of the glorious Victory won by our brave Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President, Muzaffar Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the role of the victorious Azerbaijani people in the Victory, examples of bravery and heroism of our soldiers and officers, and said that the memory of our martyrs will live forever in our memories. It was noted that on November 8, after 28 years of longing, the city of Shusha, which is of great importance and symbolic for the people of Azerbaijan, was liberated from occupation. It was emphasized that the liberation of the city of Shusha, which is the crown of Karabakh, is one of the unique military operations in the world military history.
In order to perpetuate this incomparable Victory, which has become a celebration of our people's power and national pride, and is of exceptional importance in terms of the prestige and future development of our state, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 3, 2020, November 8 is solemnly celebrated as Victory Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ilgar Musayev said at the event that during that period, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service was put into continuous operation to provide the military units of the Ministry of Defense and the Border Troops located in the combat zone, as well as other relevant institutions and headquarters with reliable special communication, internet, data services, and to protect them from hacker attacks. , noted that measures have been taken to eliminate the encountered problems.
