New software has been launched to prevent information leakage
In order to strengthen information security and eliminate dependence on local and foreign disk carriers, which can cause information leakage in public institutions, the Special Communications and Information Security State Service has launched a new platform "share.gov.az".
It is a reliable alternative to the mentioned platforms, "wetransfer", "dropbox", "boxca" and others. The platform allows users to share both files with the opposing party in any temporary storage system, from 5 minutes to 15 days, as well as symmetric encryption with user encryption. This is also very important in terms of ensuring security and protecting data from outside interventions.
Only state agencies connected to the "AzStateNet" network have the ability to upload files to the platform in question. Any network user can download uploaded files via the link (if encrypted, via a passphrase). In order to educate the users during the use of the platform, an automatically updated information security recommendations section - "Cyberspace" was added to the interface.
The State Service of Special Communication and Information Security recommends that government agencies should not use external services that may lead to information leakage and only implement the platform "share.gov.az" for sharing information.
