Delegation of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the Global Cybersecurity Conference
GISEC Global Cybersecurity Conference was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on March 14-16 of this year.
Head of Department of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security (SCİS) Tural Mammadov made a presentation on “Evolution of information security – monitoring of fraudulent domains” at the conference. In the presentation, the evolutionary path of technology, methods and tools for ensuring information security, as well as the experience of combating fraudulent domain threats of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT.gov.az) of the State Security Service of Ukraine was brought to the attention of the event participants.
At the event, the representative of SCİS participated in a panel discussion on “Cyberspace and Geopolitics: A Systematic Approach to Reducing Cybercriminals”.
In total, more than 500 cybersecurity companies from 120 countries participated in the conference and exhibition, and delegates of the Service were familiarized with various information and reports on the field, held meetings with representatives of leading companies, and held discussions on the directions of applying new technological solutions.
