A delegation led by Lieutenant-General Ilgar Musayev, the Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SCIS), is on a visit to the International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy and the International Forum on Protecting Critical Infrastructure, which began its activity in Bucharest, Romania on April 25.
Heads of the European countries, heads of public and private sectors, diplomatic representatives of different countries and experts in information security take part in the said events. Head of Department of SCIS, Tural Mammadov made a presentation at both events on new perspectives on cyberdiplomacy and the digital age, new threats to the protection of critical infrastructures, and cybererrisk management in critical infrastructure. The forum discussed global threats and international cooperation, coordination with actors such as transnational corporations, science and civil society, and enhancing cooperation.
The delegation held a number of bilateral meetings in order to develop cooperation with partner countries.
