At the Leaders' Summit, the success of information security during the COP29 event was discussed

Within the framework of the event, the first-ever East-West Alliance Global Cybersecurity Summit was organized, bringing together global cybersecurity leaders through the joint efforts of the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the Swiss Cybersecurity Institute. At the event, Tural Mammadov, the head of the Special Communications and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated as a speaker in the panel on “Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships in Cybersecurity.” He discussed the importance of developing public-private partnerships in the field of cybersecurity and Azerbaijan's future plans in this area.

In his speech, Mammadov highlighted that public-private collaboration was given special attention in documents such as the “2023-2027 Information Security and Cybersecurity Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the “Measures for Ensuring the Security of Critical Information Infrastructure,” and other relevant documents. He also touched upon tax incentives in the field and emphasized the successful experience of public-private cooperation in ensuring information security during the high-level "COP29" event held in Azerbaijan.

To strengthen international cooperation and promote the exchange of ideas and strategies among global cybersecurity leaders, the leaders decided that the East-West Alliance Global Cybersecurity Summit would be held annually. This decision aims to enhance the unified stance on cybersecurity and promote a coordinated approach to addressing the complex global cybersecurity challenges.
