Finalists Announced for the "Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities" Competition

The selection stage of the "Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities" competition, held within the framework of "CIDC-2025" (Critical Infrastructure Defence Challenge), scheduled for October 9–10, 2025, has been successfully completed.

A total of 47 teams representing government institutions, banks, critical infrastructure entities, providers and operators, as well as educational institutions, took part in the online stage of the competition. The online qualification round was held on September 12 of the current year, running from 09:00 to 18:00.

Based on the results achieved during the qualification round, the teams that demonstrated the highest performance and advanced to the final stage are listed below:

In addition, 5 foreign teams have confirmed their participation in this year's "cyberwarfare" competition to both observe and compete, representing the following countries:

  5. Tajikistan

The 25 finalist teams will test their skills in a physical environment under simulated “cyberwarfare” conditions at the Baku Congress Center on October 9–10.
