A seminar-meeting on combating corruption offenses was held at Special Communication and Information Security State Service

Within the framework of the implementation of the “National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022–2026,” Special Communication and Information Security State Service regularly conducts awareness-raising activities for its employees.

Within this framework, to increase the awareness of the Service’s military personnel regarding corruption offenses, Zaur Ibrahimli, a member of the Supervisory Board of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an expert at the “Constitution” Research Fund, and Chairman of the “Priority” Center for Socio-Economic Research Public Union, was invited to the Service.

During the event, Zaur Ibrahimli delivered an informative speech on topics related to corruption offenses, the responsibility for such offenses, as well as the rules and principles of ethical behavior in public service and their compliance.

During his speech, Zaur Ibrahimli emphasized that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, has highlighted the role of civil society in the fight against corruption, stressed the importance of introducing new initiatives in this area, and noted that a systematic fight against corruption is being carried out on the path toward socio-economic development.

The seminar-meeting concluded with participants’ questions on the topic being answered and an exchange of views.
