Lack of cyber security awareness results in hacking of personal accounts
In recent years, the difficulties caused by the pandemic and remote working have made information security one of the topical issues and a sharp intensity was observed in the number of cyber attacks.
These words were said by Azer Ahadov, Deputy Head of the Special Communications and Information Security State Service, at the international conference "International Cyber Security Days" (ICSD) held by the PROSOL company in Baku.
He said that the attacks were mainly aimed at information systems: "Unfortunately, it should be noted that it is not difficult to target individual computer users, redirect them to fake links, seize their accounts, and sometimes blackmail them.
The reason for this is the low awareness of cyber hygiene and cyber security in our society. Against such attacks, private and state institutions should actively work together, various measures should be held, and young personnel should be trained."
