Preparations are being carried out for the joining of state bodies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to the Electronic Document Management System
State bodies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be integrated into “Inter-Ministerial Electronic Document Management System”. Employees of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security have been in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on 05-07 January 2023.
“Inter-Ministerial Electronic Document Management System” (IEDMS) was established by the operator of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security in accordance with the Decree No. 692 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 4, 2012.
Employees of the service reviewed the current state of information security of electronic document management system implemented in the state bodies at the time of its establishment in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan and evaluated the infrastructure for implementation of IEDMS and enhanced electronic signature solutions in the state agencies of the Autonomous Republic.
The employees of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service informed the engineers and programmers responsible for the mentioned systems of the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic about IESD and enhanced electronic signature solutions. A seminar was held on the security of solutions operated by the service, integration possibilities with other systems and safe operation.
Currently, a total of 145 state bodies with 1226 employees are connected to the "Interdepartmental Electronic Document Circulation" information system. During 2022, state bodies sent 25,619 documents and received 25,606 documents through the IESD system.
