State institutions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic joined the "Cyber Hygiene Project".
The State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues cybersecurity awareness measures to protect government agencies from existing or emerging threats. Concerned employees of the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan joined the “Cybernetics Project” within the implementation of the measures. The main objective of the project is to increase knowledge in information security and have a solid cyber immune. 34 employees of the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies participated in the project. Within the framework of the project implementation, engineers' approaches and preparations for simulation tests developed on the basis of cyberattack patterns were identified.
For information, cyber hygiene involves safe use of the Internet, protection of personal and corporate data, identification of risky areas, enhancement of base knowledge on digital security.This refers to both awareness of existing risk areas and methods of avoiding these risks.
The final goal of this project is to effectively defend against the threats posed by the safe use of the Internet by properly assessing risks and knowing how to protect against them, and to make this knowledge a habit, such as personal hygienic rules.
