The Computer Emergency Response Team joined the first meeting of the OIC-CERT Board of Directors in 2023
The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which is also a member of the Computer Emergency Response Team of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took place on February 7, 2023.
At the meeting held in online format, the action plan for 2023 was discussed, the areas in which the board will be in charge of the action plan were identified, the question of accepting new members was put to a vote, as well as the proposals on organizing the next live meeting of the board were heard.
For information, let's note that according to the approved annual action plan, Azerbaijan (CERT.gov.az) will lead the 4th strategic direction of the organization "Engineering and technology" in the next year.
It was also suggested that the next meeting of the board be held in parallel with the Global Cybersecurity Exhibition (GISEC), which will be held in Dubai, UAE on 14-16 March, following the proposal of the United Arab Emirates CERT, and this proposal has been positively accepted by the board.
