A meeting dedicated to the results of the year 2022 of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security was held
On February 10 of this year, a meeting dedicated to the results of 2022 was held at the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the head of the Service, Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev, expressed his condolences on behalf of the Brotherhood of Turkey on the death, injury and destruction caused by the terrible earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The participants of the meeting commemorated the victims of the terrible earthquake in Turkey with a minute of silence.
Then, in his speech, Lieutenant-General Ilgar Musayev emphasized that despite the fact that the complex socio-political processes going on in the world in 2022 created economic crises in some countries, as a result of the far-sighted policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, there were successes and achievements in the economy of our republic.
The special attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the development of the field of information security and cyber security was noted in the meeting, and as a result of this, a number of important orders and decrees were issued in the relevant field during the reporting year, and relevant decisions were made.
During the period of the report, the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security was detailed about the state communication, government communication, provision of special purpose information-telecommunication systems and networks, their connection with the Internet network and the deployment, operation, security and development of Internet information resources in the information and resource center, including the work done in other fields, the current defects and the tasks that are faced during the current year.
At the meeting, the heads of the structural units of the Service and other officials made a report on the results of the last year in accordance with the directions of activity.
At the end, the Head of the Service emphasized the declaration of “Heydar Aliyev Year” in the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2023 and informed about the organization and implementation of a number of events by the Service on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev.
